Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden is a world class leader in the production of filmmaking. But they also want to be world-leaders in sustainable film production. So they are investing in change, looking at the impact of everything they do – and doing something about it.
This isn’t greenwashing or a PR exercise. Over the five years that we’ve been working with the Studios they have been implementing changes which cut their emissions, improve the ecology on-site, manage resources sustainably and be a better neighbour.
But now, on the back of significant investment, they have turned their actions into an ongoing initiative which aims to put the environment top of mind for the business and everyone who works at the studios. It’s no longer just about making films it’s about ‘The Big Picture’.
Our brand for the initiative uses the iconic Warner Bros. shield as a ‘protective frame’ to highlight where change is happening and where the impact of actions can be seen. The brand has been created to live wherever good things are happening – on seed packets, vehicles, walls, screens and recycling bins – using statements, facts and infographics to inform, encourage and inspire staff to get on board with the initiative.
