Conqueror paper has held a leading position as a high-end paper since it first rolled off the presses over 125 years ago. Although still regarded as the world’s best-known paper collection, the company needed to refocus its positioning and re-engage brands that appreciate the value of fine paper.
We developed an identity that encapsulates the contrasts within the Conqueror brand: its tradition of excellence and its status as a modern, pioneering company. We updated classic brand elements by recrafting the original watermark and the iconic sword emblem, then reinforced them them with the new strapline: ‘Since 1888’. Set against contemporary styling, photography and a fresh supporting colour palette, the identity repositions Conqueror as a relevant, progressive brand.
