Art of Ping Pong x James Joyce

Last night at Goodhood was a proper celebration of the new Art of Ping Pong collaboration with artist James Joyce. The collection, ‘No Laughing Matter’, is based on James’ now legendary collapsed clown, was launched with music, drinks, good people and, of course, plenty of ping pong.

The night’s tournament brought out everyone’s competitive side, with Giff, Will and Jemima all stepping up to the table and getting stuck in. As regular studio players, it was a pleasure to play with such beautifully crafted products.

After a series of intense rounds, it eventually came down to Giff and Jemima battling it out in the showpiece final. Jemima (who else) took the win and became the night’s ping pong champion. An impressive effort from the Blast champ – but ‘no laughing matter’ for Giff and Will. A great way to round off a fun evening of seriously competitive ping pong.

A big thank you to our friend, and AoPP founder, Algy and the Goodhood team for having us – we had a brilliant time celebrating the collaboration, getting involved in the action and of course walking off with the spoils!
