A walk in the park

Our latest project for Exton Estates is the branding and marketing for the exciting new office development Huntercombe Park, Taplow. The design reflects the unique green belt location and sustainable build, the logo itself echoing the footprint of the building. The campaign is structured around three key messages, delivered through the use of ‘park’ based phrases.

BBC Symphony Orchestra

A great start to the new year, as we launch the new logo for a truly great British institution – the BBC Symphony Orchestra – backbone of the BBC Proms and one of the most listened to orchestras in the world.

Our solution was to create a mark based on the commonly used acronym for the Orchestra ‘BBC SO’. The resulting logo is simple, memorable and campaignable, allowing the orchestra to communicate its values to a variety of audiences, through a series of ‘SO’ message lines.

The logo is to be rolled out over the year, beginning with the Orchestra’s new truck livery.

Joyeux Noël

Arjowiggins Creative Papers corporate greetings card shows off their wide range of papers to clients and distributors across Europe – giving them a bit of creative inspiration in the process.

We created a card with a set of die-cut gift-tags slotted inside, each with a Christmas message in a different language, and using a different print process. The tags can be used by the recipient to attach to Christmas gifts to send to friends, family or colleagues – proving the mailer to be useful as well as beautiful. Frohe Weihnachten!

It feels good to start the revolution

Sometimes it’s a joy to put a message across and in the case of this campaign to promote the use of Recycled paper it feels (really) good. Everybody knows that using recycled paper is good for the environment – don’t they? – so this campaign for Arjowiggins Graphic emphasises all the other benefits – including the feel good factor. The aim is to create a movement that people want to be involved in and pass on for all the right reasons. Colourful Life opens

Our exhibition marking the global relaunch of Keaykolour Paper opens today. The exhibition features artworks inspired by a life in music and created by Keaykolour’s artistic ambassador Ian Wright. The exhibition, part of TENT and the London Design festival, is open 11am-5pm, Thurs 22nd – Sun 25th Sept.

A puzzling piece

The Wellcome Trust are celebrating their 75th anniversary throughout 2011. We were invited to create a high quality communication aimed at engaging both internal and external audiences, to launch the celebration of ’75 extraordinary years’.

Our solution incorporates a jigsaw puzzle which references the seminal Sir Henry Wellcome quote “My plans exist in my mind like a jigsaw puzzle and gradually I shall be able to piece it together”

Designed for Speed

Following our naming and branding for the Velocity office development at Brooklands, we have just delivered the new pre-let brochure and website. The concept builds on the brand’s ‘Spirit of Brooklands’ inspiration, with imagery evocative of the golden age of British motorsport and aviation. The campaign draws similarities between the pioneering spirit of Brooklands and the development’s unique qualities and business advantages.

Creative thinking

BBC Academy asked us to design a toolkit of techniques which could be used to facilitate internal creative brainstorms and ideas generation sessions. We represented the creative thought process through inspiring ‘doodle’ themed illustrations and compiled the creative techniques in a ringbound step-by-step guide.
