BBC Symphony Orchestra

A great start to the new year, as we launch the new logo for a truly great British institution – the BBC Symphony Orchestra – backbone of the BBC Proms and one of the most listened to orchestras in the world.

Our solution was to create a mark based on the commonly used acronym for the Orchestra ‘BBC SO’. The resulting logo is simple, memorable and campaignable, allowing the orchestra to communicate its values to a variety of audiences, through a series of ‘SO’ message lines.

The logo is to be rolled out over the year, beginning with the Orchestra’s new truck livery.
